View Available Drivers

The NoRush chatbot helps users easily check which drivers are available in their group through simple, natural language.

User as a Passenger

When a user wants to see which drivers are currently available, they can ask the chatbot something like:

  • "Who’s available to drive?"
  • "Are there any drivers free?"
  • "Show me the available drivers."

The chatbot will:

  1. Query Driver Availability

    • Searches the user's group for members who are marked as available and designated as drivers.
  2. Retrieve Driver Information

    • Compiles a list of all available drivers, including their first and last names, and optionally other relevant data (e.g. rating, proximity) if available.
  3. Respond with Driver List

    • Notifies the user with a message like:
"Here are the available drivers: Nick Nash, Isaac Guidry."
    • If the list is long, the chatbot may format the names as a bulleted or comma-separated list.
  4. Handle No Available Drivers

    • If no drivers are currently available, the chatbot will respond with:
"There are no available drivers at the moment."
