Managing Notifications

Notifications are triggered by in-app events such as ride request updates and new messages. They keep users informed about the app's activities in real time.

Notification Components

  1. Top Title Menu

    • Displays the notification category (e.g., Ride Request, Error, Message, Information).
    • Quickly identifies the type of alert being received.
  2. Sub Header

    • Provides a more detailed explanation or specifies the reason behind the notification.
    • Offers context to the top title.
  3. Notification Icon

    • An icon that visually represents the notification type, such as:
      • Request
      • Error
      • Message
      • Information
  4. Bottom Progress Bar

    • Indicates the time remaining before the notification automatically disappears.
    • Visually represents the notification’s lifespan.

Notification Interactions

  1. Press and Hold
  • Pausing the notification by pressing and holding stops the progress bar, allowing users more time to read or interact.
  1. Click the X Button
  • Dismissing the notification immediately by clicking the X button removes it from the screen.
  1. Tap the Notification
  • Navigating directly to the relevant content or screen associated with the notification.
  1. Extended Press and Hold
  • Holding the notification for an extended period may reveal additional options or context-specific actions.
